The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
I also have hand tremors, so i don't know if it's the predisone I'm coming off of or it's Fibro.
Anyone have any advice for us?
It's a lifestyle change. So, it's really not like a diet.
I'll see if I can't dig up the post again and bring it here. It has been helping me.
Things like low milk intake. Reducing the amount of red meats...all healthy stuff anyways. I'll see if I can't find it now.
Hugs!
This is not exactly a diet specifically for fibro but it has made me lose weight, feel more energetic & my IBS symptoms have lessened tremendously. I don't eat fast food anymore (ok, I cheat about once every couple months) & I just watch what I eat when over at friends or families homes. Alcohol aggravates fibro symptoms & can disrupt sleep so drinking less (or not at all) helps alot.
Eating healthy is always recommend by doctors or dietitians, naturally. I think you just need to find what works for you; whatever that is that makes you feel better about what you are taking into your body.
Best wishes.

And like the other post. I cut out all caffeine (pop...I don't drink any other). I cut out all fast food. It honestly tastes like junk to me.
And I have PCOS so my daily calorie intake is 1000-1500/day and this has kept me at the weight I'm at. I'm not gaining especially on the times when I can't make it to the gym.
I also eat 4 small meals a day. This helps keep portions in check.
Good luck to all of you who read this.

Has anyone else tried this plan?
I eat more curry (high antioxidants and anti inflammatory), brown rice, wheats, whole grains, high fiber breads and cereals, oats, whole wheat pastas, raw veggies and fruits, soy milk, tofu, salmon, lamb or turkey (instead of beef), apple sauce w no added sugar or preservatives), and ensure (for the days i feel like crap).
i don't always stick to this tho. sometimes i get lazy when i feel like crap. but most days i'm pretty stuck to it. the foods taste super yummy if you know how to cook it right. i know i've made some salmon better than i ever had in a restaurant lol! anyway, hope you find what makes you feel better! good luck!
