I have been watching this board for two days trying to decide if I want to be part of this community. LOL! I'm really sorry to tell you that it has been very entertaining with all the fighting. I am posting because of all the fighting about the Queen game has made me really interested in participating in it.
The best help I know is distraction and laughter. The game sounds like great fun. I also have a sick sense of humor, so the fighting also provides distraction. I'm still not sure if I will stay or go.
My only suggestion would be to add to the bottom of each post where it says: "inspirational, moving, helpful and creative." I would love to add "silly" and "unnecessary" as I would have found them most useful in some of the conversations I have read.
Oh, and I would also like to say this sight shouldn't need moderators as we are all adults.
Gentle Hugs to ALL!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I say, give it a chance and hope that the battle will die down. From what I've seen there ARE alot of great and supportive people here.
Ya know, I find that I take offense to things and get upset easily when I lose my perspective and haven't gotten out enough. Maybe we need to take a break from time to time and then come back. It doesn't mean forever.
So if people are fighting, they take a break....I don't see anything wrong with that. They might need it.
I think the perspective has been lost here.
Oh well, I'm hitting the hay.
I hope that everyone has a good, restful and peaceful sleep. Hopefully by morning things will be a bit more positive and uplifting around here.
Love to all!!!

it isn't always this crazy
I have to learn the lingo around here....
But I also have to go to bed.....so I'll check to see if there's an explanation in the am.
I am sticking with this site. I think the fights are only natural. And, as we're a bit hypersensitive due to our illness....it's only natural to get easily offended. Happens...and we get over it.
But what IS the "Queen" thingy...? I'm dying to know.
Love to all

There are also some people here who enjoy being the center of attention, and enjoy stirring up trouble. You'll recognize them pretty quickly by their incessant posts - look at the top ten and when you see five of them are posted by the same person it's pretty easy to sort them out.
I agree that we don't need to be "moderated" - that just shuts down the feeling of being free to say what you need to say. We all choose what conversations to take part in - if you don't like the thread go read another one or start your own - don't complain because you don't like the thread someone else started.
Stick around - you'll find friends and support - you just need, as in "real life" to be selected when you choose your friends and confidants.

I too am a newbie and I stumbled upon the game by accident. It looked interesting so I played. Then last week while there was tremendous conflict on this site, I was dealing with some life issues, (you know death, cancer, fibromyalgia, arthritis, sleep agnea, nothing as important as this conflict.
I came back and found the postings regarding where is the queendom. Seemed like a harmless post. Now after 90 odd replies and many darts thrown at me and my theology, I am ready to quit this board. I'm thinking of heading to Chronic Pain, where it seems that laughter and games are well accepted.
I really have never seen adults act so childishly. I am very disappointed in EVERYTHING that has happened over the last two days.
Maybe Havoc and I can start a kingdom on Chronic Pain.
Now watch as a hundred people attack this reply.
