I was diagnosed by my neck and back doctor. I have been on dilaudid 2 mg for years for severe chronic pain that no one could figure out what was causing it. My regular doctor due to the new laws will not give me but 30 pills a month. She added 20 mg nortriptyline (antidepressant) that was supposed to help with pain and 10 mg baclofen for my chronic muscle spasms. I was already on 225 mg of effexor for depression/ anxiety. I take also trazadone to help me sleep and topiramate for my migraines. I am allergic to all of the pain meds out there. I have tried the lidocane cream(over the counter) I need so much for it to do anything and it is so small of a bottle and expensive. I have been to a pain clinic, done the lyrica ( allergic to it), did the shots ( made the pain worse), cymbalta. I was wondering if anyone on here is like me and can give me some advice on what I can try or tell my doctor because I feel like I am getting nowhere and I feel like I have tried everything and I am going to be in miserable pain forever. These laws really piss me off because it makes it difficult for people like me to get the help I need without going to specialist that cost a fortune. Please help!
Absolute agony here, so keeping it brief. Forget it. (Well, I meant another eff word but...)Hugs and support. Just gonna be a long hot rotten day here, so...CUteness required...
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia earlier this month (May) and it really sucks. I have been in so much pain. It is so stressful dealing with another health problem for me. I hope these new meds work because this is really annoying and hard to deal with.
