No more Cymbalta for me and I feel GREAT! I feel more like myself and have actually had less pain. I feel better now than I have in months. Had a little bit of pain last night but I think it was because of the cold front coming in and I was under a draft.
I'm really concerned for people still on Cymbalta. That's not to say it doesn't work for some people but I'm concerned b/c of my experience with it. I guess my fear is that b/c I didn't see what was happening to me that maybe others won't either and it'll be too late for some of them.
I posted a discussion and more people than not have had very similar 'overdose' stories. One person told me she barely found her daughter in time to save her from her overdose/attemted suicide (I can't remember if it was attempted suicide or not).
One of the women I work with who has stopped taking Cymbalta and warned me all along told me her Dr. told her that 30mgs often makes people more depressed so he ups them to 60mgs.
My question is this: They up to 60mgs and feel great- but for how long? Then up to 90mgs? Then when that stops working- they have to tricycle down on that drug only to begin therapy on another? Eeesh! Scary, Scary, Scary!
I'm thankful that others have had such great success and I did too in the beginning. I'm just worried, I guess for the ones who may not realize they are falling deeper in, instead of coming out of their depression.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
That being said, all meds work differently for different people.
Big hugs to all!
