how do i try to remain calm when i live with 3 latino,a adults and two girls,5,7. the house is always noisy and unclean. i get so upset at times and frustrated. i told my b/f, since its his family, and basically he says too bad. due to me not working he had to move them in to help pay bills. BULLSHIT. but anyone have tips besides 4 xanax every 3 hours? i already take lamictal and klonopin(3x) daily. i am very sensitive to alot of noise from kids. i pray for the day i get my house back to me and my b/f. any suggestions?

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. these times to those are snack, this time is for reading
this time is forarts and crafts you know break it down with a schedule to be followed every morning sounds to me like they are not regulated
ChaCha and Necie are right, give them a chore list and a time limit.
I saw a list of "House Rules" in FL, you might even post that.
*You mess it up, you straighten it up.
*You eat off it, you wash and put it back.
*You get it dirty, you clean it.
*You throw it in the floor, you pick it up.
Etc.
I would also recommend ear plus or something else to listen to as others have stated. Maybe some nature background music in your cd player/disc man/ipod, what ever you can find. I am on lamictal and Klonipins as well. Good luck!
