I was wondering how many fibro patients out there have catch 22's concerning their medications. One problem I have is it seems that I have many allergies. I am very limited to the help available to me because of this. The other problem deals with interaction. I cannot take anti-inflamatories because I am on blood thinners and have GERD. I have trouble with muscle relaxers because the normal dose causes tremors and severe weakness as well as problems with my heart rate, I was hospitalized for 3 days with this reaction. I take pain medication to be somewhat functional and yet I cannot get enough relief because I cannot take the full dose because it causes irregular heart rythms. But if I don't take pain medication, my blood pressure goes too high because of pain. I have to take a heart medication to keep my heartbeat regular, yet it makes my blood pressure too low. The ones that won't lower my pressure I can't take because they cause my asthma to act up and then the inhalers I would need to counteract that would cause me to have an irregular heartbeat, and round and round we go!! I feel like my systems are overloaded. Anyone have any ideas, natural alternatives or otherwise?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
