Okay all. Recently I have been posting about my hugely busy schedule and also about feeling like a failure for having to miss my college classes and things. So I made some tough decisions today. I told my editor that except for the article I'm already working on, I will not be able to take on any more for quite awhile. I also told my Prof. about my Fibromyalgia and will bring in a Dr.'s note as well in case I have to have more absences. Additionally, I put an ad on Craigslist for a Mother's Helper to help care for my 3 month old son in my house for 4 hours twice a week. This way, I can read my schoolwork, take a nap (or shower for that matter!), walk down the street to a cafe and read the paper and get some coffee or do whatever I need to do to make me less overwhelmed with my situation. Two people have already applied for the position which makes me really happy! The Mother's helper is only temp. just until school ends. By then I will have no more articles and I will be done with all my coursework for my M.A. and will just have my Comprehensive Exam to take in order to graduate! It is an added expense (Im paying $80 per week or $10 per hour, which I think is reasonable), but I feel like if I do not change my lifestyle soon, my health will continue to go downhill.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
