Yes... me. I have Lyme disease and have learned a lot about it. Now, I am not saying that all cases of FM are LYME, but the symptoms are exactly the same so it is important to find out. A regular blood test is not going to do it. Most doctors are NOT. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't lived it. If you suspect you have lyme but your MD told you no b/c of a blood test you should know that there is no definitive blood test for lyme... symptoms are the most important in diagnosis. Only 50% of people with diagnosed lyme ever even recall a tick bite or a rash. It is NOT something you would notice... it is smaller than the dot on this page in it's most infectious stage. I felt compelled to join the others who have shared their experience in hopes that someone may recognize themselves in lyme symptoms and stories posted... and get help. That's all.
