Hello, I am new to the board but not to DS. I was just today (after waiting 3 months for the appointment and a year and a half of pain) with Fibromyalgia, and referred to a neurologist to check for Dystonia.
I was given Lyrica to try and my Tramadol was changed for an extended release formula. I am looking forward to (hopefully) enough relief to go back to work as a C.N.A. This being a very physical job I need this Lyrica to work.
The Dr. said injury's can take a very long time to stop hurting because of the pain receptors being crazy, I wonder if anyone has experienced broken bones ( I had my leg broken last Feb then a bone graft in may).
I wonder how long it will take for that to stop hurting and if any one has had problems with pain management. Just kind of putting things in perspective now and wondering if this may be why I could not get appropriate relief after my surgeries... anyway lots of questions, but I will mostly hover around for answers to the rest.

My Biggest Bit of Advise to you right Now would be...to Start Keeping a daily Journal...write Everything in there on a daily basis, make it fun, Incorporate some Fun stuff into it, so that you actually start Looking forward to writing in there...Keep track of How ur feeling Physically, what you have done thru out the day, foods you have eaten..the weather...meds, and how they are effecting you...within awhile you will start to see patterns emerge...and perhaps you will be able to start Knocking down some of your co exsisting Symptoms...
