I took lyrica and it had a horrible effect on me. I posted it on here. The next day I asked my doctor for something else for pain and he prescribed Zanaflex. I told the him I didn't need a muscle relaxer and he said "this is a special pain killer for fibromyalgia." Is this true? I've taken it and it makes me really sleepy. The pain is not as bad but I'm SO tired. I already have CFS I don't need to be more tired. Also, this is the same doctor who said he didn't believe in fibromyalgia. I have already gotten a new doctor cause I know this one sucks (can't see the new Dr. until after the holidays), but I just want to know if Zanaflex is really, "a special pain killer for fibromyalgia". I'm just curious. If he is making that up I'm going to be so mad! I can't really do anything about it but I still want to know.
