Hello..I am rather new here, but the more i read about the fibro, the more confused i get..When i read some of the posts about having fibro flareups, i wonder where i fit in..My pains are there ALL THE TIME..GRANTED..they never get so bad that i have to stay in bed, like in some of your posts that i read..I also have arthritis in my neck, back, and knees, so sometimes, i am not sure which is which..I have pain from head to toe..EVERY DAY..When some of you mention FLAREUPS..does that mean, that some days, YOU ARE NOT IN PAIN?? I would say that my overal pains (arthritis and fibro), are around 6-7...I am still able to get around, and do housework, although i tire easily, and rest in between..I used to walk 3 miles everyday, but because of my knees, can no longer do that distance..I only take advil or motrin about 4 a day..Prescription meds just make my headaches worse, so i dont take them...GIVING EVERYONE GENTLE HUGS.
