I bought from Walmarts "Rolled Tilapia stuffed with Spinach and Cheese". One portion is 4 oz and 110 calories. I cooked up 2 of these for dinner, and I gotta tell you what a yummy treat these were. To top it off, they were 99 cents each. So, for $2 I had a really nice easy dinner that was a treat. So, if you like fish, I would highly recommend.
What do you all do for an inexpensive easy yummy dinner? I'd love to hear others ideas.

Jan

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
This time of year I make a lot of soup or chili. It only takes a few minutes to put together, then simmers til I'm hungry. Sometimes I put a roast in the electric roaster, then add veggies when the roast is tender. Makes a lot of leftovers. I love to cook but don't do much anymore. I like to use the bread machine for easy bread that smells really good. I'm all about the electric work savers these days

I make a great hamburger soup and put the "kitchen sink" (leftovers) in it along with ground beef and onions. I pureed a can of Campbell's vegetable soup and a can of pork and beans (so son wouldn't notice...hee hee) and it turned out to be the best soup ever! LOL
Tommorow I am making homemade chicken and dumpling soup in the crock pot.
One of our favorites is to throw boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the crockpot with a jar of spaghetti sauce & let it cook all day. Then you boil up the spaghetti at dinner & you're done. I used to just put a whole breast on each plate, then decided one day to shred the chicken after cooked & throw it back into the sauce & we like it better that way...and uses less chicken! :)
The other crockpot favorite here is pot roast. I usually throw a frozen roast in the crockpot the night before & just let it cook all day. It falls apart by dinner time & is really yummy.
