the next time you have blood work, have them check you for anemia.
Since I have been diagnosed with the Iron Def. Anemia, been on a course of iron supps, and have a increase in my hemoglobin (from 9.6 to 11.4 -- normal for women is 12-14) my fatigue has greatly improved.
It's not completely gone, but I have a very noticeable difference. I don't come home from work and collapse like I used to.
This may not be the case for everyone, but in case it can help someone here feel a little better, I wanted to put it out there anyway.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I knew I was anemic years ago but since it was borderline and taking iron has it's own problems, I forgot about it. Then a doctor ordered comprehensive blood work and my ferritin level was 3.1 out of a range of 5 to 306!!! No wonder I was so dead. My other values were a mess too.
If you still have a period, did you know that if you have to change your tampon during the night, you have a heavy period. No kidding. And uterine fibroid usually cause heavier bleeding as well.
now i am more tired than ever, at least dr figured out the fibro & ruled out all the obvious things, wonder if it could be something else ?
