Do you guys get this, the burning on the bottom of your feet? I haven't done anything unusual to make this happen, like walking entirely too much for one day.
Oh, I'm so grumpy today. Day 2 of gluten free diet, feet burning, house needs cleaning, spent too much at the grocery store and don't have hard ly anything to show for it, on and on it goes.
Tanks, my friends for letting me vent. What can I do about my feet? OUCH!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Do you take fish oil and calcium/magesium? This may help.
I get pins and needles..alot...walking, bending...crouching down and at times it seems for No reason...my skin on the backs of my thighs will burn from time to time...makeing it impossible for me to have anything touch me there...so no pants and no sitting for me...and it can last for days...but I am not sure that is the same thing as what you are referring to...my brother is diabetic and that is a big complaint of his...hmmm...have you talked to your dr. about it at all yet ??
prayers for you my friend...that sounds miserable !!

what do I do with the fish oil, sweetie -rub it on my feet? Ouch
When my feet get like that I soak them in hot soapy water, that helps make them feel a little better. Hope this helps...hugs jilly
Did you try the stretches yet?
My mom told me her dad had the same problem. I also always sleep with at least one foot out from under the covers, sometimes both. My dad does this, and we joke about our feet being our thermometers, monitoring the temperature for the rest of the body. It doesn't sound funny the way I typed it, but however he put it, it was funny. LOL I was told it was circulatory as well, although I would think a burning sensation would mean too much blood, since cold feet mean you're not getting as much blood flow. I also have peeling on the bottoms of my feet, almost always have. My feet have always been sweaty too, my mom said even as a baby she couldn't keep socks on me. :)
For me, the best solution is rest, put my feet up and I usually take a pain med if I know I'm not going anywhere else that day.
I don't have any of the signs or symptoms of diabetes. I don't have an predisposition to it and my bloodwork has always been fine.
Just an FYI...hopefully elevating your feet, distracting yourself with a good movie and possibly some meds (if available) will make you good as new.
My thoughts and prayers are with you though and
Love and HUGS too!
