I decided to give my lyrica another chance yesterday since there are no doctors around anywhere during the holidays and I have been too tired to drive to a clinic to get some kind of pain med. The pain was so bad I had to try something. I didn't want to share this until I knew it worked. I think my 1st dose was way too high. I took just 50mgs yesterday and the pain seemed to go away. I still felt a little weird but not even close to the wackiness I felt B4 when I took like 400mgs. at once? (I can't remember). I've taken 50mgs. about three more times and I am feeling really good. Still a little strange but the pain is SO much better! I think I actually might give this stuff a shot. I am still going to a new pain doctor because the last one was an asshole. But I just wanted to let you guys know, at lower doses lyrica seems to work pretty well. I will let you know how it's going after I get back (after Christmas). You guys have a safe and happy Christmas and I will be thinking about all of you. I'm not kidding! Love you guys. (((Hugs))) Jen

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
