Ok I had a really bad time the last couple of days, extreme pain all over, felt just like rheumatoid. But it was all over, anyhow we all know what a flare feels like ( and thnks to those who sent kind words it helped) anyhow after 2 really miserable days, I started my monthly cycle this morning and all my usual pain is gone...Is that weird or what. I allways wake up in alot of pain, flare or not. But not today. So maybe our hormones have alot more to do with fibro than we think...Has anyone else had their hormones play a significant way in how the fibro effects them?

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
could be Hormonal...but I think our Hormones Rev Everything up..
Last Winter my Sister {Who is a Diabetic} told me to Try to Add Extra Natural Sugars into my Diet when I First start getting the PMS Symptoms...I was Like...OK ? But Surprisingly enuff...it has Helped my PMS Pain Tremendously...when I Discussed this with my Dr. he said he believes alot of us with FM are Hypoglycemic...I may have spelled that word wrong...srry...so Taking in the "Natural Sugars" helps a great deal...Normally my Sugar Levels stay around 108...have never had them go high...but I Know I have had them drop...I Take my Natural Sugars in the Form of Extra Fruits...adding extra Honey to my Tea or Coffee...natural Fruit juices...
Last year at my mans insistance I had my Hormone levels checked...I was Well within Normal range...the tests are Expensive...and not recommended unless you Really believe there to be an issue...my Husband Really believed I was the devil incarnate...Lmao...so I finally Conceded {since he was gonna pay for it}...even tho I knew I was just crabby from trying to Work and keep up with everything around here as well....I was in alot Worse shape last fall then I am this year...
Hormone levels Can Reek alot of Havoc within Ones Body...if Everything seems good with your Overies...then have your Adrenal gland checked as well...I Lost my right one when I Lost my right Kidney...
speaking of HAVOC...Anyone Ever hear from him anymore ??
Many has said if you get your hormones balanced you won't be cured and I probable won't be but I am sure it would be a lot better. Do a search and see what hormones affects in ones body. It's so long and wide.
Best of luck to us all.
Gentle hugs, Sherrall
