Cymbalta now settles good in my stomach without nausea.. Lyrica makes me sleep.. my mood is not good most of the days and i think that my sex drive has committed suicide... the pain is much less i must admit.. so i am trying to enjoy that...

A friend sent this to me..As far as I can see, grief will never truly end.It may become softer overtime, more gentleand some days will feel sharp. But grief will last as long as Love does - ForeverIt's simply the way the absence of your loved onemanifests in your heart. A deep longing accompaniedby the deepest Love some days. The heavy fog mayreturn and the next day, it may recede.Once again, it's...

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
I kept getting these "zaps" like static electricity - ya know, the kind we've all had when rubbing against carpt and touching something metal. This would happen without reason - just sitting, standing up, walking, talking, you name it.
When I stopped, this continued for dang near 2 weeks. As quick as it came, it left!! Dr. said he's never read nor heard of this, but since it quit after cymbalta, no use in continuing.
Lyrica on the other hand made me drowsy as well w/the AM dose (75MG). I would take the 150MG dose at night and wait until long into the AM for the AM dose. Since insurance barely covers it due to no generic, I've been switched back to Neurontin which does just as good - and without all the drowsiness.
Meds are weird eh? :)
Take it easy,
Niko
Wrong, Lyrica is a terrible medicine. I know it does everyone different. I said the same thing. It hit me all at once. I tried to stop it but found out I couldn't. Just by decreasing the dose for two weeks the swelling is gone from my hands and feet. The pain is really no worse without it. I have already lost weight. I don't feel like I can eat a horse 24 hours a day.
I took an article to my doctor yesterday that I read on the internet about Lyrica. He agreed with me.
Lyrica made me sleep like a baby. Last night I got up at 4:30AM. I will be exhausted before none. I have to work today. It's an endless cycle. Good luck to you.
Everyone is different.
I can't handle any anti-depressants - they turn me into a zombie.
I always thought it was a this or that kind of thing but maybe the combination will work for you.
