I was wondering do you have a favorite Halloween memory, story or custume to share? Mine happened just this year. About a month ago I took my 7 year old grandson and 5 year old grandaughter to buy costumes. That accomplished; we then went to McDonalds for supper. It was around six, we had time so I asked them if they wanted to go to the Super Halloween Store, of course they both did. I thought they might get scared but they loved it. We were there for over an hour. They pushed every button and touched nearly all the rubber mask. My grandson got a fart whistle, which he blew all the way home. my grandaughter got skull brains. We bought a Halloween CD with songs for kids. They loved the darn thing. It was a great afternoon/evening. In case you can't tell I love spending time with them and they love it because I am not always in a hurry. They don't realize that with this darn fibro I don't do much of anything in a hurry. I don't dare make to many plans at once.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
One Halloween, when our daughter was about 5, I took her to the church costume party. It was pouring rain and pitch black outside. When we were leaving, my eyes hadn't adjusted to the darkness and I stepped off a curb and fell right into a foot high PUDDLE! My bag with camera was floating on the top, along with my purse. What got me was when I heard an "are you alright?" and turned around to see the entire youth group standing there!!!
There was a bonfire in the center and it was always a bustling area filled with laughter, food, candles, everything that makes the holiday great!
The woods would have such a fantastic smell from the fallen leaves,incense, lit pumpkins, food cooking over the fire.
I do so miss those days! I moved from there many years ago, but remember those nights very fondly. I just wish I could have the energy to do it now. I hate having to miss so much because of Fibro! >:{
