Grow a garden, can or freeze food. If you have land grow, some of your own meat. Use cast iron skillets not Teflon, use stainless steel, glass to cook in. These are proven safe. Use glass to store your food in. Do not use plastic to store stuff, or use in microwave. Use paper plates for kids lunches. Less dishes.Use heavy glass glasses. Some of these things CAN be bought at a Goodwill or a Thrift shop if you dont have them. Use 1 gallon of water to 1 TBLS bleach, to steralize anything you buy at these places. At least your kids and Grandkids will KNOW you tried to keep them safe. Make homemade food. Not prepackaged. (youll KNOW whats in your food) These days theres not much we can be SURE of. But we can at least try to keep our families safe. I Have always done this.
