I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, ulcerative colitis, chronic fatigue and anxiety problems about 17 years ago. I kept trying to work as long as I could until about 11 years ago when I applied and was rejected CPP.. even the appeals were rejected. I gave up. I even tried to go back to work part time but failed to even manage that. I worked in an accounting office and liked my job. My husband has since supported me financially. Now that he's been laid off and we can't make ends meet, I was wondering if there was any temporary financial help I can recieve. I'm living in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. I'm desperate! Thank you.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things.
