I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, ulcerative colitis, chronic fatigue and anxiety problems about 17 years ago. I kept trying to work as long as I could until about 11 years ago when I applied and was rejected CPP.. even the appeals were rejected. I gave up. I even tried to go back to work part time but failed to even manage that. I worked in an accounting office and liked my job. My husband has since supported me financially. Now that he's been laid off and we can't make ends meet, I was wondering if there was any temporary financial help I can recieve. I'm living in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. I'm desperate! Thank you.
