It's midnight here and I waited to long to take something for pain. That meant that I took two percocet along with my nighttime medications. Now I am sitting up with a movie on because I am afraid to go to sleep. I started having this fear after I got Meningitis from CoxSackie two years ago and stopped breathing at home. That's what kicked the Fibro into overdrive. It was reinforced by my medical crisis three weeks ago.
Does anyone else have this fear? I know I am going to sit here until I literally fall over.
Thanks in advance for your help

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Dying does not scare me...however...HOw I die still puts a bit of fear into me...I work thru any anxiety attack now by simply breathing...I have times when it feels as tho my heart is gonna hammer its way right outa my chest...I get up...start stretching and breathing and that calms me considerably...back when I was younger I was so strung out on Vailum I had no clue if I was comeing or going...won't ever live like THAT again...so I had to find my own way...and thru time I have, I wish you inner peace my friend...it can be very elusive...
I hope you got some sleep. It sounds like you have a phobia of dying.
I have almost died a few times and it took the fear of it away.
I have fear of other things though like being in crowded places and it feels like I can't breath. It isn't fun.
I'm glad that you got over the meningitis. I have a friend that just got over encephalitis and was in the hospital for weeks.
When I have a panic attack I pray and try and do my breathing exercises.
Hugs, Keleee :)
Living this way with no help is my fear.
Thanks again
