OK! I am going to put up my latest journal dated Nov. 13th so you can have a clearer picture of what's been going on with me lately and what my question is...
I have had such a time with my back the most lately, especially today! Especially tonight! Especially now! Can't sleep, but when can I really? 3am! Took 2 Aleve (at 12am) as per mormal, meaning when it's this bad, and the edge that is normally taken off is not even touched! Wearing sport wristbands on my wrists AND ankles (constantly on my wrists! On and off on my ankles! More on than off!) because my wrists, hands, ankles, feet and legs are painful and going numb! Having allot more seizures (Shaking, twitches, hand spasms, blank-outs, etc.) lately of all types! Migraines almost daily, sometimes 2 a day! Mind you my migraines last almost all day sometimes, so 2 a day is WAY too much! One a day pretty much every day is more than enough! Even with amazing Excedrine Migraine to take, well at least it takes the edge off but it still feels like a vice grip on my head! Ever seen those old fashioned vice grips supposedly used to alleviate migraine headaches way way back in the day? Imagine that! Sometimes feels like hammers to the head! At least with the Excedrine the hammers go away and only the vice grip is left! Well whatever takes the edge off, right? Sometimes I get lucky ducky and the migraine slowly trickles away! I LOVE those rare days when the Excedrine Migraine really truly works! But what the Excedrine Migraine does do is a miracle compared to not taking it and my head getting worse to the point of throwing up, passing out or both! So I am greatful for whatever help I can get! Such a time of ALL of this lately! My emotional tollerance for ALL this is WAY past it's limit! My back feels like the whole of the Marines are standing on it with jackboots and won't let up! It's sooooo fun to try and breathe lately! Yay this feeling in my back coupled with asthma! When it feels like I'm wearing an elizabethean girdle...UNBEARABLE! "Just suck it all in", the ladies in waiting would say! Walking is weakening my body sooooo much more than normal lately and starting my asthma! Thank God my wonderful, tollerant, loving boyfriend is there to walk me up stairs lately! Him on one arm up the steps, my walkig stick on the other...priceless! Nothing to take but Aleve and Excedrine Migraine and hope for the best, which is the edge taken off of the pain at least! Can't find my heating pad, but it's a gamble anyway! Sometimes the heats too much, sometimes I pray for a miracle! But I am not asking for sympathy, just kind ears and understanding because we ALL know how it goes!
Masters of "shoveling snow in a blizzard" aren't we all?
Masters of "walking up a hill backwards while shoveling snow in a blizzard and never getting the option to look down and see if we might fall!"
We know we are going to fall! We know we have fallen over and over, but we still shovel that snow in the blizzard because we know exactly how to live an impossible life!
Yet...we keep on living, keep on keeping on because this is OUR life and the way the story of our life has been playing for years!
If the world truly knew how much we had to shovel snow in a blizzard, people would be awed at the fact we can even get out of bed in the mornings!
We are truly what "strength of character" is all about!
My question is this...
During this time of Extreme, diverse pain I have noticed that pretty much I wake up every morning with a "horse voice!" It's not a sore throat (Even though one night when I got a migraine all night and all the next day, BOY was my throat sore from puking constantly and by the end of it all having nothing really substantial to puke up but puking regardless, BLECK!) anyway, I have noticed that I have been waking up with a horse voice and major pain ( They are going hand in hand lately) and I was wondering if anyone else got this horse voice for hours after waking in the mornings and what they either had wrong with them or what they did to get pain relief so they could talk above a raspy whisper and of course have some pain relief!
Bear in mind I don't have med. ins. at the moment, so meds. and docs. are kinda out of the picture right now!
It's like what you sound like with laryngitis or something like that, but you don't have a sore throat until a few hours of not being able to do anything but talk above a raspy whisper!
Take care,
Stay sane!

theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

So basically I have had my fill of free clinic docs. assuming a 29yr. old hobbling on a walking stick STILL shouldn't be ill in the least and is ONLY coming to the free clinic for drugs and to show off her latest fashion statement walking stick! OR that I am some junkie faker!
All I either get is the piss test handed to me and they walk away OR they just tell me to get some rest because I must be stressing myself out too much!
An ER doc. told me awhile back that my situation "Is just a bunch of little things put together!" DUH!
I am way sensitive to medication and I have to be careful what and how much I take so I sure as shoot AM NOT going to the docs. for drugs! If I can avoid meds. altogether I would LOVE it! I AM ONLY going because I NEED to know what the freak is going on with me here! Nothing more, nothing less!
There is a free clinic by the hospital here that I was told had nice staff and docs. Sooooo I hope it's not crazy expensive and they ARE nice to me and I can get some help!
At this point though, I'm not quite sure about free clinic docs.!
That is assuming one can rest the least bit being that they feel this bad and no one will help them or give them any real answers!
Take care,
Stay sane!
My prayers are with you!!!!!!!
I certainly would get an answer from a doc about it. Could be..not trying to scare you, but anything from allergies to throat cancer. Need to be checked out.
Like I mentioned...I have no money, med. ins. OR meds. really to take so I'm just up poop creek without a paddle basically as of late and was wondering what could be up with all this!
Take care,
Stay sane!
I have throat polyps that I have to get checked yearly. I had one removed but it came back a year later on my right vocal cord. I have trouble with horseness because of it. You may want to see if your clinic would refer you to an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist. It doesn't hurt to get it checked. They stick a fiber optic up your nose and down your throat to see what's going on.
Take care and Hugs, Keleee :)
I like Keleee have had throat polyps,3 times,I had then removed,I tend to have a low raspy voice anyway,so its hard to tell when I'm horse, unless I lose my voice completely(which my family loves). Please try to find a free clinic in your area and have it checked out.(((HUGS)))
