Any ammount of cooked chicken , 2 cans chicken broth, or several cubes, melted in warm water. 1 onion, 2 garlic flattened, then chopped. Fresh carrots, (or use a frozen mixed veggie mix), chopped celery. Add water as needed. 1 tspn. sea salt or regular.1 Tabls parsley. fresh ground pepper. Or regular. I add rice(REAL) OR NOODLES TO THICKEN THE SOUP. Add more water if needed after they are cooked. The last one I made, I put frozen swiss chard in. It was very good. My BF got over his cold in 3 days.I always make biscuts with this with real honey on them. If you have fresh Ginger honey and lemon , make a tea with it. This also helps. And drink lots of water, and Apple juice. I always save and freeze any chicken left overs to make this soup. I also give it to my friends with colds and they swear it helps them. I make the soup quite salty as it helps dry up the mucous. I hope it helps you.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
