Today in 1944 Anne Frank arrested in Amsterdam by German Security Police (Grüne Polizei) following a tip-off from an informer who was never identified. I have actually visited the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam. Having seen the actual space that all of those people hid in, what we are enduring while staying home due to pandemic is easy street.
Good Morning all you little rays of sunshine!
The end of yesterday turned into a bit of mess. My partner decided to start applying for work. He forgot that his social security card is locked up (never carry it in your wallet) and ordered a new one. He isn't a quick typist on the computer so that was an ordeal. Then he started to apply online for work and needed his resume. It hasn't been updated for quite some time. So, yours truly got drafted at the end of the day to produce his social security card, fix the resume and then attach it electronically to an application. Thank God for Carbonite as it transferred all of our old documents over to this computer which was new last year. Having to retype the whole resume would have been a nightmare. He kept fussing at me because he was afraid that I was too tired to deal with it. I was but I did. I want him to get out there and figure out a new career path. We need the money.
I got some decent time in the pool too. It was a bit cold from all of the rain but I stayed in for almost an hour. We got some more rain last night too.
I will see you all in a little while. Hoping that everyone is holding their own today!

And I'm sure we can all agree, I wish it didn't increase our pain. But apparently it's supposed to clear up a little this afternoon, and I did get the whole day off so at least walking...
It's the stressful time of the semester for me teaching death and dying classes to nursing students at my community college. We have 3 big exams in the course between August and December and starting tomorrow I give mine on Elizabeth Kubler-Ross's book about the 5 stages of grief. I've had 2 students who have turned on their computer at live streaming class time for 5 weeks, but won't turn on...
