Hey, all. The random GI thing is still with me. If I ingest, the abdomen aches and swells, and I get nausea. If I don't, I feel nausea from low blood sugar. So far I'm told this is: stress; roasted turnip; diverticulitis (?!); and sour milk/food poisoning (which somehow the turnip was not).
Fact of life: if you have no fever, 90% of your GI ailments will be pooh-pooh'd, no puns intended. If you have no diarrhea, ditto. So... I get to ride out whatever rode in, and that's that. Lovely.
Well, at least liquids stay down so far. Feels awful, but they stay down.
And I really want to find the a--hole who decided my HMO would do better to have me go on some stupid website and check boxes to get my "diagnosis" and "treatment" instead of *seeing a medical doctor*. But if I don't go on the website *first*, they charge a higher co-pay. How this is legal, I don't grasp, but welcome to "health care".
