You all will never believe this, I went to my psche doc the other day because I have bp also. He told me that if I loose weight and exercise it will help my fibro. Im sure it will but he said it as if that would cure it. I wonder what he would tell my sister-n-law that has both and wears a size 3. I have hit the 200 mark over the years as well as you all understand that after working all day, cleaning house, taking care of children and dealing with medicals illness' that once you have done all that your main thought is to lay down. I also have osteoarthritis in my neck which I dont think exercise will help the bone part. haha..Sometimes I get so sick of these doctors thinking that if you weigh over 5 lbs your normal weight size that the weight is the problem to all. So if I loose weight and exercise go back in a year with a new skinny body what will his excuse be then. Any of you had this problem and any ideas on a quick weight loss program. I want to loose this extra 75 lbs by January so I can show him Im all well. hahaha

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

I do have a diet suggestion for you. A few years ago I was on the Candida diet and lost 35 lbs in about 4 months. I had to eliminate all sugar and yeast. There were some oddball things like vinegar, which would include things like ketsup, worscetershire(sp) sauce, salad dressing, and anything fermented. All of these things feed the candida fungus. You would only need to worry about the sugar. I also had to eat whole foods: whole wheat pastas, breads, brown rice. My family actually liked them better and we still eat them. I had to copme off the diet because I was getting so weak that I couldn't raise my arms over my head. My adrenals shut down. I really followed that diet religiously. Just watch for that.
If you try this, the first few days you may feel hungry, but after that you won't. Good Luck!
I can't do much exercise any more - even walking too much sends me into a two-day flare, I'm sure that's partly responsible for the extra weight I'm carrying. I'd love to be able to be more active - but I need better drugs LOL
Really, I know it's not funny, but it IS ironic that even though they don't feel what we feel, and nobody really knows why we feel this way, everybody has a "cure."
