Hello everyone, my name is Amanda and I am 26 years old. First off let me give you a bit of background on myself. I have lived with scoliosis for several years. It's not horribly bad, but bad enough to cause me pain. I have a curve in my spine between my shoulder blades that sometimes causes my spine to grind against my shoulder blade a bit, which is painful. I have a small curve in my lower back. Five years ago I was in a horrible car accident and had fractures to my lower spine and to my hips. Because of that I have a lot of pain from arthritis and I have a lot of muscle spasm in my back from the accident and caused by the scoliosis. So, I have a lot of back pain. But, besides between my shoulder blades and in my lower back and hips, my back hurts ALL over, even up in my neck and shoulders, but most severely in my lower back and hips. I also have a lot of pain randomly in my knees. More so in my right knee, but sometimes in my left as well. I have never had any knee injuries, so there is no reason for the pain that i know of. I wake up every morning stiff and sore and am literally in pain 24/7. It just drains me of energy! I also have headaches the majority of the time. My doctor doesn't think I should have so much pain from my car accident 5 years later, and at my age my arthritis shouldn't be THAT bad. They put me on knew medications that are not helping me at all, so I go back the end of this month for xrays and a reevaluation. They said they would check me for fibromyalgia then. For those of you who have been diagnosed with this, do you think my symptoms sound similar? Could this be what is causing me so much pain?

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
