Today is Hubby's cancer doc checkup. Yep, it's a Monday.
To cheer up, a bit of Jimmy BUffett: Come Monday, it'll be all right, right? :-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ut1NEhQA1fM
Odd note: Jimmy Buffett fans are often called "Parrotheads". Wear a tropical shirt, folks, get ready...
His most known song is probably "Margaritaville".
Ever eat at CHeeseburger in Paradise? He co-developed the restaurant chain. He also hit the bestseller list both fiction and nonfiction.
And even if you never heard of him? He's one of the world's wealthiest musicians at $550 million net worth, give or take.
If any0one knows why they're called Parrotheads? Clue me in!
Poor Pfizer! Moderna kicked off trading for this week on the stock markets by announcing ITS Covid vaccine, whic is allegedly 94.5% effective and isn't as fragile. I will note, hweover, that it is also a two-dose vaccine, and let's face it ----- do we always get our second doses? OK, we do, but most people? Will they all comply? I don't know. but Moderna's second dose is 28 days after the first (cue Zombie Film 28 Days Later, courtesy someone I know who insists this is part of the "plan" and probably needs to have gtheir internet cancelled).... At any rate, we'll see, we'll hope, but I dislike the timing. Call me cynical, but coming out a week after Pfizer, claiming "better" results? I smell profit-making before quality control is entirely done.
SHOULD we wait for quality control?
Yes and no. Even if the true efficacy is only 50%, that's better than 0%. Yet the side effects issue ... it hasn't been clarified. And we tsill have no *long-term efficacy* data. So will we need Covid vaccine boosters every year, twice every year, or what? My inner nerd is proceeding with caution. My inner panic attack just wants to cry. Heads/tails? Beats me, but let's remember that the at-risk population goes first ---- health care personnel, elderly in group homes, and finally down to the rest of us around 2022, possibly by end of 2021.
I'll keep my nerdy eyes on whatever info I can, and pass it along!
So anyway... Yeah. Happy mid-November! Six weeks or so left of 2020. If only changing the calendar would magically change life, too, eh? Still, I got a pretty 2021 calendar, just in case it helps;-P
HUGS HEALING HOPE to us all!

.From Dr. Nicholas Jenner on his onlinetherapist.blog“I am convinced that codependents come into adulthood seeking the basic connection with others that they failed to find with their parents. In a process of compulsion repetition, they engage in relationships with people similar to their caregivers, trying to solve the original problem. In the specific case of codependency, this means...
