I have tried ciprami, but the thing is, it had to renew its licence last year, therefore it relaunched as citalopram, to gain a further 5 years (Ithink) grace. It made me put on weight, other than that it didnt really help with the fibro. Last week I was put on Tramadol 150 (bugger, can;t remember the term, but it releases the dosage over 24 hours) I have been taking it since Wednesday, and the only side effects so far are sleepyiness. Is that helpfulto yu
I did experiments with MS-CONTIN but needed too high
a dose 280mg daily, Since this was too high, I reverted to methadone (Physeptone in pill form),
This medie works great on my pain long term, because im on a high-dose 150 mg daily
(50mg am, 50mg noon 50mg Bedtime), I have no need for breakthrough medecine because of the way I moderate my high-dose. Apparently one can go as high as 200mg daily (max).
If required (emergencies)
I can take 30mg of morphine,
but this is rarely neede4d since I was changed to a higher-daily-dose.
I use valium (diazepam) judisciously (6 a week ) If I take too much of this med it effects Depressive episodes.
After 23 years of experimentation and pharmaceutical guinea-pigging, Im ok with my current regime, however I wish they could put Physeptone (methadone) in a transdermal patch (slow-release) system like Durogesic Patches (Fewntanyl)
I hear my rest-hour calling.
