I was reading the book Firomyalgia for dummies and it talked about coping with interstitial cystitis. A condition common for people with fiiro. It is when you constantly have to urinate and even after you go it feels like you still have to go. My bladder always feels full I go to the bathroom about 20 times a day. I have had many urine cultures and they show nothing. Except sometimes there is blood in the urine. Does anyone else have this problem? Any input would be helpful. Thank you so much!!!!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
but what you described sounds just like the bladder infections I USED to suffer from...I started drinking 8 ounces of crannberry Juice every morning...I have NOT had a bladder infection since..Oh, yea...you said you had ur Urine checked...then I have no idea...and if I remember right someone said the worst thing For I.C. is crannberry juice....what did your Dr. say ??
Since increasing my salt consumption I don't have to pee like a racehorse every 5 minutes.
Hope it's nothing, but I know my son was doing that one time and the doc said that sometimes we get a kind of a cycle going. We feel the urge to go, so we go, and then we "think" we might need to go again, and then, well, we need to go again, and round and round we go. I don't know if that's what it is, and I'm not saying it is, but just a thought. Hope you get it figured out. It's GOT to be annoying!
I suffered with this for months before I found a terrific book that had a diet in it and basically a list of foods that are good for it and bad for it..and some quick fixes..It worked for me and If I accidently eat something I shouldnt( like I didnt know that Yogurt was on the BAD list) I now know how to clear it up in a day or two..
The book is " You Don't Have to Live With Cystitis", by Dr. Larrian Gillespie. It is available at amazon.com but I bought mine at Barnes and Noble.

I've just become very used to it. I figure it's one way to get rid of toxins.
Have you gotten a list of foods that cause irritation?

My old doc gave me a few RX's for it and it did nothing. I started taking cranberry pills once in a while but don't think that did anything either. Now I'm wondering if it wasn't due to something else. I'm gonna get my doc to check on this. Thanks.
