We went our to the local bar last night, usually very slow in there on Weds. night, but all the kids are home from college for the holiday. I couldn't take it, had to come home! Too loud, too much pushing and shoving. I actually told one VERY tall girl, to back off, I was sick of her hitting me in the back with her huge purse. I think I scared her, she moved all the way across the room, LOL!
I'm still sitting here waiting on a phone call to tell me the details of where to go for my new job that is supposed to start monday.... the call was supposed to come this monday though and then tuesday then wednesday they still hadn't heard anything and today is thursday....
The last time i went shopping the day after thanksgiving 2 woman got into it at walmart right by the shoe dept. One lady took something out of another lady's cart bcause they were all gone and she wanted this item pretty bad i guess, these 2 woman literally got into a fight, i mean, punching, kicking, pulling hair, for the both of them. The cops ended up coming, they both ended up out of the store, ambulance was there, not sure if either got arrested but lucky me, i just happen to be back there in the clothes dept, right next to the shoe dept, the store manager and a few workers made us all move over to the back wall, i said, cant we just walk that way towards electronics, no, the police might want to talk to u, i said, im not talking to no one, i said, if these 2 idiots were stupid enough to get into it over something as stupid as that they both deserve to go to jail, i dont care what today is.
that was it for me, people push and shove to get thru the doors. If i want something i find it online. Some stores will also have great deals on their websites also.
For those of u going shopping tommorow, have fun, don't overdo it, and please dont get into any fights. lol
Nowadays, I hate crowds! My anxiety kicks in big time, I have a panic attack & need my inhaler. I can't stand the pushing & shoving. Then just to top it off, all those store floors hurt so bad that I haven't shopped for an hour before I'm ready to leave. So nope, not me, not gonna do it!! I've become VERY fond of online shopping, plan to do most of my shopping that way this year. I too though am struggling to find the $$ for Christmas this year. We usually use my husband's bonus at work for Christmas, but they cut it out this year because of this horrible economy!
I have not seen a mall on Black Friday since 1985. So.....I think the consensus will be....Fibromites..DON'T DO BLACK FRIDAY!!!
IT'S JUST NOT HEALTHY FOR US. ANd if you do, bring a walker, wheelchair, and cane, face mask and many pain meds and alot of water bottles....at that point..is it really worth it?
Shop on line...OR better....GO to my infamous "Inexpensive gift idea post" which seems to pleased quite a few on here!!
Problem for me is, I can't do crafts...I suck at them.....
But I hope I was able to help those who CAN DO them.
Love and hugs to all....and remember proceed to Black Friday/malls...at your own risk...
