Anyway, I have extremely dry skin, but my mother who has FM has psoriasis which is an autoimmune disorder as well.
Hope this is what you meant. Oh, and my dry skin continues to worsen with age but the onset was roughly when I became symptomatic with the FM. When I say dry skin... I mean DRY skin.... cracked heels, scaley patches, etc.
Also, can anyone tell me this... I seem to have aged in my face a great deal. I don't know if it is just dry skin, the FM, or if I just look more haggard from constantly dealing with pain... what do you think?
I discovered jojoba oil 6 years ago and it helps immensely.
I've never heard of skin problems associated with FM. Maybe your doc has a working theory.
Shingles can produce a rash...
