I am not sure which board to post this on but I started here. My sister that is moving here from Pa has fibro, cfs,Ra and many other conditions. The problem is she is on so many meds and lots of them are the same. FOr instance she is on 4 antidepressents,4 preventive for mmigrains, and 4 anti inflammatory drugs. Anyone else experience being on a lot of the same type of drugs. I can understan more that one antidepressent as I am on 2 but 4. On top of that any rheumatogist that I have been on first want to start you on a muscle relaxer and an anti inflamatory. She has no muscle relaxers but 4 anti inflamatory drugs yet her legs still swell so dosen't seem to me they are working. I told her once she moves she needs to see new doctors and start from scratch to see if something can't be changed. SHe is on 20 different meds and still feels horrible. JUst wondered if anyone else had this experience and if so could explain why so many of the same type drug.
Any help or comments would greatly be appreciated.

Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I hope she finds a good doc that will listen and know how to deal with FM.
