I actually joined more then a month ago but haven't been on the computer much since. I was finally diagnosed in Nov. 2006 but have dealt with pain, depression, insomnia and digestive problems, and sensiitivity to heat and cold since I was a teenager. I also have degenerative disc disese, osteoarthritis, diabetes (might be slow onset type 2 but am still on just oral meds),high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. All are under good control but I tke a lot of Prescription meds. Hopefully losing more weight with eating good food and exercising will help so I can get off some of the meds. I go to a warm water pool for a fibro class 3 times a week and foster a dog so I get some exercise walking the dog. I've been under some extra stress because my son and his girlfriend broke up a month ago and she is not letting us see our grandson who is 7 months old and my only grandson that lives nearby. We also aren't getting to see her two older boys. The extra stress really causes me more pain in my upper back and neck area I have already gotten some good advise on this site and am so glad all of you are here. Hope everyone else is feeling okay.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
