I am going to have a hyster. on Feb 4. my mother lives out of state and also has fibro. I have been on my period since before Thanksgiving and have have caught a virus from my sunday school class . Basically, I've been in bed for the last 4 days. My husband doesn't want my mom to come to visit after my surgery because he said that will be one more person he has to clean up after and cook for. We have 3 teenagers. I'm only 35 years old and he has already made statements like going to a marriage retreat on the 2/15 which is 11 days after my surgery is he crazy? Am i being selfish for wanting my mom to come to be with me after I get out of the hosptial. I know he resents me have having fibro. But I don't know healthy people that are up bouncing around and going out of town after 11 days. Please give me your advise. I feel like I'm being selfish for wanting my mom here. Am I?
