I started a discussion a few days ago about Lyrica here. I had posted in an aearlier lyrica discussion, but it was an older one and I cant even find it now! ;)
I just started on my 2nd dose of 75 mg today. I was supposed to take it 2x a day in the beginning, (last week). But it kicked my butt with one dose. Im a fog bank and out in thr ozone, my brain wrapped in cotton wool! Honestly, so far-I don't like it! but to get an accurate trial. I wanted to take the 2nd dose for a few days to a week, before i stop trying it out. I cannot imagine going any higher unless this fog rolls away! It will be a week tomm. I will see by this time next week, if i will continue or not!
Odd as it is: We are all so different how we handle certain meds.
Good Luck!
Jess
Today I am taking 200 mg of Lyrica given by a doctor who treats fibro patients on a day to day basis (she is a God sent to me!). I love it! My daily ache from fibro is gone. I do still have pains and the overwhelming tiredness at times, but my activity level is so much higher now. I take no other medicines except Lyrica. I do have a pain medicine if I have a flair up. It's been a real blessing.
I have no doped up side effect from Lyrica at any dosage. Not sure why, but feel quite normal. I take my 200mg once in the morning and right before bed.
