Hello everyone. I am 29 years old and was just diagnosed with Fibromyalgia today by my Rheumatologist. I went to see him because I have something called Lupus Anticoagulant which is a blood clotting disorder and an auto immune disease. I found out about this after almost dying from bilateral Pulmonary Embolisms (blood clots in the lungs) in April of this year. I started showing signs of lupus which is common for people with lupus anticoagulant. I went to him and after a look at my symptoms and a thorough exam he said yup you definitely have fibromyalgia. I don't know very much about it. He is still testing for lupus but doubts I have it which is good. I sleep 12-13 hours a night and still never have any energy. I am always tired. My joints hurt, my muscles hurt. When he pushed on me I wanted to hit him it hurt so bad. I had no idea it was so bad. I have depression, migraines, ADHD, and severe restless leg syndrome which I guess are all symptoms. He said I'm already on medications that would be used for this so there is not much I can take. He said to try tylenol arthritis. Can anyone offer me some words of advice? What helps you through the pain? PS I'm a full time student so the stress doesn't help any. Thanks!
