stomach pain

Has anyone had bad stomach pain that was real sharp? I had it for about 1 1/2 days and thought it was my appendix. I had tests at the hospital, and they found nothing. I felt as though I was making up the pain although it was so real.

Sounds like IBS spasms or diverituculosis, However you spell it, IT can cause sharp pains throughout your stomach area,

I also know I get pain in my stomach area, its not my stomach but my intestines, I take Donnatal and it solved the problem,

Darn that IBS!!!

You need to see a gastrologist and have a colonscopy and probably an endoscopy also.

Yes I've had them. Fibro is a central nervous system thing so it could cause you to have pain anywhere. It's so frustrating, isn't it?? I find a heating pad or a hot water bottle can help.

I agree with DD, sounds like IBS... feels like knives in my guts at times.

Yup sure sounds like IBS to me. I take Benefiber and Fish oil Pills daily to keep my bowels regulated.

I take donnatal when I have it, helps stops the spasms,

I took fish oil but after a few years I realized that is what was causing me to have these spells of getting hot then itching everywhere.

I posted about fish oil capsules, how they should be frozen then they will be more like time release capsules and easier on your body.

I also have IBS, my physical therapist said it goes along with fibro

yep sounds like IBS and agree we get pain and nothing shows up and we feell like we r making it up...YES IT IS VERY FRUSTRATING!! but whatta gonna do cept find something to make ya feel better, I also use heating pad on the spot with sharp pain. God Bless sweetie

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
