I've came up with an interesting theory of what triggered my fibro and would really like some opinions. See my mom had fibro and i've heard it's hereditary. i think thats why i have it, but have a theory on what triggered it. I was an athlete and was in the best shape ever. a few weeks before coming down with mono is when my fibro symptoms started. Mono is in your system almost i think like 60 to 90 days before you get sick. i was only sick from it for 3 days. I'm thinking being in great shape and getting infected with a common (but still a disease none the less) may have triggered it. Fibro being in my genes and my body becoming weak and vulnerable just seems to make sense to me? and to answer questions from a couple of nights ago I've been tested for lupus, even tested for all deficiencies. doctors said they'd do anything for results like mine im so healthy. after an mri of my brain if everything is ok then i will be diagnosed with fibro. Any opinions on my theory are welcome and appreciated.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
