I have been having paiful sex for about 6 years now I have had 2 laparoscopies and had some endometriosis removed, it cant all be removed as it is too close to the bladder and is too risky.
I was on the pill but decided to have a break as I was on it for 13 years straight pretty much. I had a marena IUD inserted October 2006, it hurt like hell and took 3 months for the bleeding and inflamation to go down. The Dr also failed to mention that it was not adivisable for me to have a marena since I have never had a pregnancy.
I have what they used to call corrosion of the cervix, one dr said its where the cervix grows out as well as in and that causes some pain. I have been to the Dr again today as I have just started a new relationship and as always sex is painful but the other day I had a huge loss of blood and it was bright red not the normal colour that I normally bleed. My new partner is constantly worried about hurting me and Im fustrated cos I love sex and he is a "Great" lover and I just want to have a normal healthy sexual relationship. I have lost too many guys over this and I'll be damned if Im going to lose this guy. Anyway the Dr today said I have another infection in my uterus from the IUD so it looks like I have to get it removed and who knows what I will use now.
Im just sick of not feeling normal, am I the only one out here having this problem and if there is someone out there how are you dealing with your situation? I can't take this anymore

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
i'm sorry, this sucks!
A friend of mine had an IUD and hated it....her period was always like Niagara falls as she put it...and hurt worse too. I would see a better doctor! or at least get some second opinions... he really shoulda asked you if you'd had children b4. [or at least mine did when i asked about it]
i had painful sex for different reasons. it's so frustrating! Anything i could do to relax helped. Even using lubrication too. have you asked your gyno about it?
