My newphew is graduation 8th grade and I was wondering what is the going monetary gift if he's a newphew??? I thought about $75 since we give about $40-50 for birthdays and around $75 for Christmas. What do you think? Should I give more like $100. We all are close but as the kids are getting older and in sports, we don't see them maybe a few times a year. We have one child but they have 3, do we take that in consideration also as our kids get older. My son and neice are graduation kindergarten the same year so I actually got our neice a cherished teddy figure (that's what she collects from her mom, I found one with a graduation gown and cap on with a diploma) and will give her say $10, her other brother graduates 8th grade in 2 years. The people with a single child always seems to expect more to give? Your help is appreciated or comment. Thanks!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
