Hello to all our family and friends. As many of you know, Justin and I are expecting a baby in April and are very thankful and excited to finally be adding a child to our family. We have had a long road of trying to get pregnant over the years we've been married and we were unbelievably surprised and grateful when we finally found out we were expecting. After a very rocky first trimester, I am now almost in week 21 and we recently had our 'big' ultra sound. The ultrasound was on Friday and we found out that the baby has almost no fluid. On Monday, we went to Billings to see a fetal specialist and to have a more detailed ultrasound. He discovered that the baby is developing perfectly, is the right size and weight, has all the organs, and is functioning fine. Therefore, they suspect that my membrane (amniotic sac) has spontaneously ruptured and I am leaking most of the fluid that the baby is producing. This usually causes labor to start, but in my case, for some reason, we are not going into labor yet...Thank God. The smallest a baby can be born and have a possibility of living is at 24 weeks gestation. The doctors told us that there is nothing that we can do except bed rest and wait. We are researching some experimental procedures that have been done in other states to seal the leak and re-fill the sac. It feels like there has to be Something else we could do to help. We feel pretty helpless doing nothing. Growing with no amniotic fluid can cause major problems for the baby as well, most worrisome is that the lungs may not be able to develop normally. We need as many prayers as we can get. We're praying that labor does not start for as long as possible, that possibly the rupture will seal on its own or that we will make a smart decision as to what steps to take to help, and that the baby will continue to be strong and develop as normally as possible. We're trying to stay positive and keep our faith and hope, although the doctors don't seem too optimistic. We know miracles happen every day. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers. Please forward this to other family and friends because we could use all the help we can get and believe in the awesome power of prayer.

I'll keep them all in my prayers. I forgot which saint you pray to for children or pregnancy. But I prayed to that saint when I wanted to get pregnant and it worked. Perhaps research it and pray to him/her. Keep me posted as to what happens!

They have my prayers as well. My wife and I went through a high risk pregnancy 4 years ago. She was able to hold out until week 25 before she gave birth to our first son. He had a rocky first year, but now is a very happy and healthy soon to be 4 year old. God is good, and He can work the same miracle in your friends life as He did in ours. Keep the faith and prayers going. God bless.

I'll be glad to pray for them and their little baby too. Sometimes God has His purpose for things we don't always understand. Starting and being on a prayer chain like this is the best thing you can do. You are a dear friend and please keep us posted.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
