Family & Friends of Cancer Patients Support Group
This community is dedicated to parents, siblings, grandparents, other relatives, friends and caretakers of cancer patients. It's difficult to find a safe place to talk about caring for a loved one with cancer, and so this group serves as an open forum to foster positivity and support for those going through this tough time.

If there is anyway possible, NOW is the time for you and your Mom to be together, especially for your sister. I am sure she would love to have the both of you by her side right now. I truly believe she can still hear you. Be there for each other, you really NEED each other now. I cannot imagine the pain that the both of you are going thru after losing your Dad, her husband and now her daughter, your sister. Life is SOOOO short, as you have learned, don't let a moment go by, because it could be TOO late. Sending you big hugs, and strength... Alice

my sister passed away today. my mum was told she had to choose to turn the life support of because she was not going to come out of the coma and even if she did she would not live much longer. mum chose to turn the life support off. she breathed on her own for 3 hours. my sister passed away today at 5pm on the 6th of november 2008. i will miss her with all of my heart

I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
