I fear my 8 y/o son is following in his father's footsteps. The Dr' have not "labeled" him as bipolar. Just that he has a "mood disorder". His father is Bipolar/schz with paranoid tendencies. My son has been on medication since Oct. 2007. However, I feel that he may be a rapid cycler because we seem to be back at square one with the same type of episodes as we had in Oct of last year. I have an appointment with the psychologist tomorrow and I am considering the discussion of changing to a different med.
