My 20 y.o. daughter has BP. She has been dx since 15. It used to be that Autumn, less daylight, etc. would bring on some negative issues for her, but she has had a recent relapse/crisis episode, and has found that as the sun comes up and during daylight, she is feeling physically ill: nausea, head aches, body aches, pain. Then, as evening approaches and it gets dark, the pain symptoms subside. She has also been primarily manic during this time period, but depressed/sick agitated during the day.
Has anyone else experienced this physical pain during daylight that subsides at night?
(5 weeks ago she started Seroquel, but has had problems from it oversedating her to then upped dosage not bringing down the mania at all. Now on 300mg of Lithium, which seems to be less sedating and less destroying of her personality.)
Note: I also posted this on the Bipolar board.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
i'm thinkin maybe it has something to do with the new meds, or even old ones combined?
I am thinking I should have her get a complete physical and neurological exam.
(If her crappy insurance will pay for it)
He also has sensativities to foods...he does better in the spring, summer when fresh foods are more affordable and available. Gluten, carbs and sugar can add to his mania and depression.
Also, on a personal level with fm, changes in the barometric pressure have a big impact on me as do big changes in tempurature...in general daytime is more painful than nighttime.
Hope this helps
