I'm having a hard time with my ex, to me he does strange things, and I just found out about his bipolar diagnosis about 6 weeks ago. One of his annoying behaviors is to call and call and call and not wait for people to return his call. Is he: a) an idiot b) harassing or c) just typical of someone with bipolar? I was reading that bipolar people have difficulty with social cues. He also will talk and talk incessantly when I just really don't want to hear anything he has to say. I suppose this is all part of the package.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I would take Kuup37's advice and do some research. The resources here are a good place to start.
Good Luck
The incessant talking could be BP related too if he was kinda manic but when you say I "do not WANT to hear ANYTHING he has to say" it kinda makes me think that may be a you thing too. That sounds a little harsh.Like it would be different if you said "he repeats himself 100 times or he goes on and on about the same thing for hours" but saying you do not want to hear ANYTHING he says sounds like you are tuning him out. That may be why he continues to talk he realizes you are not listening.

He might just be an inconsiderate idiot who is selfish and used to getting what he wants when he wants it too, perhaps nothing to do with BP...LOL
My daughter is 9 and goes on and on about God only knows what and sometimes not in a mean way I have to tell her ....shhhisshhh.Gimme a minute. She is not even BP.LOL Just loves to talk.
