So I am sitting here just trying not to lose it,
trying to figure out why this is happening to us
trying to figure out how the hell this gets better.
I don't care who judges me
I am typing this so I don't completely lose my mind and say things that I shouldn't
I am the adult here
I know how he gets, and I know he can't help it and can't understand it. I don't see how the excel center is helping him when he still gets like this. Isn't medication and therapy supposed to be helping. Just once I would like to have a home where nothing is destroyed, were no one is yelled at, and I don't have to worry about getting kicked out of my apartment because my 10 year old son is destroying everything and making enough noise to raise the dead and then some.
God please let him go to sleep so that I can get some sleep and maybe tomorrow will be brighter.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
SB116, you should definitely message her, she is wonderful and has provided me with some great resources!
I virtually stopped buying my wife gifts as she would destroy all of them. I even bought her a very nice necklace (expensive) and she got rid of that too. One day, I finally told her that I was no longer going to buy her anything since it will end up being a waste of money and that got to her. She promised not to do that anymore. She seemed to have improved when she saw that my threat was real. My suggestion and it might not be a good one, but if your son destroys a toy that he likes then put your foot down and tell him that he will not be getting a new one. When you do buy him a toy then let him know that there will be no replacement if he breaks it and he might reconsider the next time when he sees that you are serious.
You might be doing that now as I do not know. Or, he is breaking other things that are not his toys and that I do not know what to tell you. I do believe that following through with a punishment does help but I do not know what that will do in your situation.
I feel for you. Keep us posted.
I appreciate everyone's advice and help.
