In less than a week of taking seroquel regularly, I think I see a difference. Is that possible? Am I just imagining the changes, is she hiding and faking it to shut me up or can the med make that much difference so quickly? She is not completely back to the way she used to be, but I can almost live with her this way. She has laughed more in the last 3 days than in the last 3 years. We have actually had reasonable conversations about the kids. Is this change I see too good to be true? She has even asked for things or favors rather than demanding. So far, the intimacy has not returned but there have been so many bad moments in the last 3 years...will it ever return??? Thanks for any help!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
wish i could help with your other questions.... my mother is unmedicated so i dunno
but pls let me know how it goes!!
i recall the nurse telling me once on a visit that they were injecting my mum and giving her meds the size of horse tablets but nothing was bringing her down, but she is psychotic by this point.
But, average is 3-4 weeks.
Because my mum is psychotic by the time she gets medicated it takes longer, but maybe if she took them when she is still in the 'happy' manic stage then it would work quicker.
