I was wondering if anyone has called the DOC HQ in there state for there loved one in prison that was over due to get out? And did it help speed things up, or cause a problem? My BF's ERD was 5/2 and his CCO is taking her sweet time about it. He's had no problems, did his time, no write ups, worked while there, did extra help around there etc.... He asked me about 2 weeks ago to call the DOC HQ. I told him I was alittle worried about it then as he said he was told(by other inmates) that if you call complaining to them they will get on the CCO about it and let him out. I was worried this CCO may get really pissed and make him stay till his release date in Dec :( I finally called this afternoon and they were very nice about it. The girl there looked up his info. and said that according to his CCO he had not given her his "plan" for when he's out. OK now that I got upset with as this is the whole point! The CCO won't RETURN CALLS! I have called and let her no he does have it, he has called her, and he has a job with a Lawyer as soon as he's out, and that lawyer has called her and she hasn't answered any of us! How would she know if she refuses to talk to anyone! (sorry still upset with her!) Anyways the girl at HQ said I needed to talk to his CCO's supervisor. She called me back with that number with in 10 mins. So I called and left my name and number with the Super. Hopefully she will call back tomorrow. I'm just worried now, because if the supervisor climbs the CCO for this, I'm afraid she may make it more difficult and hold him anyways. He is also worried about losing the job if this takes to long. He has a job, and I paid the transition house back in May and the Lawyer has a place for him to stay after he leaves the transition house. What else does she want!!
