My daughter has been at her prison for almost 4 months and for the most part getting along and not having too much trouble except for this one CO. He is determined to give her a blue sheet(write up). The latest is she dropped her ID and bent down to get it and he tried to say she was loitering by the pole. He gave her lots of attitude and then turned off the lights on the unit as punishment saying it was her fault. She said he picks on a lot of them trying to write them up so their time to get out gets pushed back or hindered. What the heck is that? Wouldn't you want them to get out? I am thinking it could be racial too, she is mixed, he is white. She is afraid to grieve it for fear it could make it worse. Any ideas, advice, thoughts on how to handle him would be appreciated. Most of the other CO's have been okay.
